Yet another mysterious and fascinating place of planet earth is the Skeleton Lake, water has been replaced by human skeletons. In reality known as Roopkund, this lake at an altitude of 16,500 feet is positioned in the secluded corners of Himalayas. This astonishing creation of nature can also be reached through Indian state of Uttarakhand.
This lake was not known to the world until a park ranger accidentally encountered the mass deposition of dead human bones in 1942. A major reason why it wasn’t discovered until mid 20th century was is inaccessibility. It takes around four days from any nearest location to reach the frozen lake of Roopkund.

The southwest Chinese province of Yunnan possesses something very unique which is undoubtedly the pride of the nation but also something which is very rarely found in the world over such a large area. It is a forest, but not any forest of trees and animals. This is a Stone Forest, you guessed it right, and the entire forest is made of stone as their shapes resembles ‘tree’ they are known as ‘Stone Trees.’
The Shilin National Park is spread over a huge area of some 350 sq km. It is divided into seven scenic areas and they are Naigu Stone Forest, Lake Yuehu (meaning ‘Moon lake’), the waterfalls of "Da Dieshui", Zhiyun Cave, Greater & Lesser Stone Forest, Qifeng Cave and Lake Changhu (meaning ‘Long lake’).

The wreck of the Liberty Glo is the pride of the island of Bali, sounds strange doesn’t it? The Tulambem beach is the place to be and this site helps Bali earn the much needed foreign exchange reserve to nourish its economy. The Liberty is easily the island’s most accessible and popular dives. The stunning feature of the Liberty is its location; it lies underneath Gunung Agung, an active volcano. Secondly, it is surrounding by spectacular reefs. It is estimated more than 100 scuba divers dive into the waters of the Liberty every day just to have a glimpse of the wonder.

The Leshan Giant Buddha is the biggest Buddha statue in the world. This biggest Buddha statue is of Maitreya, who is a Bodhisattva depicted as a stout monk having a broad smile and exposing a naked breast and paunch.
The statue is located to the east of Leshan City in the Sichuan Province. This place is also the site of confluence of three rivers: Min, Qingyi, and Dadu. Leshan city sees a large number of tourists because of the biggest Buddha statue.
In December, 1996, it was granted UNESCO World Heritage status. The structure was built during the reign of the Tang Dynasty. It was complete in 803 AD. The carving was on for nearly 90 years. Mount Fuji is arguably the world’s most climbed mountain. It has evolved over a period of 200,000 years. Mount Fuji is popularly known as Fuji-san. The first two Kanji is helpful for pronunciation. The have only symbolic value and no literal importance. The suffix ‘san’ is the kanji character for mountain, often pronounced as ‘yama’ or ‘zan’. This is in sharp contrast to the people with the suffix added to their names.
Mount Fuji eruptions have seen four distinct phases. The first phase can be called the Sen-komitake. This phase consists of an andesite core, which was discovered recently.
