Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is placed high up within the Western Ghats in Kerala. Covering a total area of almost 777 sq km of the semi-evergreen rain forest, this sanctuary shelters elephants, tigers, sambur, langurs, bison, as well as a host of numerous other smaller wildlife. Yet another mysterious and fascinating place of planet earth is the Skeleton Lake, water has been replaced by human skeletons. In reality known as Roopkund, this lake at an altitude of 16,500 feet is positioned in the secluded corners of Himalayas. This astonishing creation of nature can also be reached through Indian state of Uttarakhand.
This lake was not known to the world until a park ranger accidentally encountered the mass deposition of dead human bones in 1942. A major reason why it wasn’t discovered until mid 20th century was is inaccessibility. It takes around four days from any nearest location to reach the frozen lake of Roopkund.

India no doubt has innumerable temples but Orissa is different in this manner. It’s not mean as if the place does not have much temples, but each temple back ups the history of rulers of Orissa, from its setting up to fall. So like many temples in Orissa, the Konark Sun Temple is the utmost point of success. It situated northeast corner of the Puri city, about twenty miles away, on the Bay of Bengal shore. On the seashore, the temple looks desolate, remote and grime, but do not judge it by its desolating view as it was the most grandest and piece of work at that time. Ladakh, it’s the most mesmerizing place on earth, it allures your every sensory, eyes will feast on the scenery, nose will get refreshed by such fresh air, no pollution at all, and ears will love the rhythm of the rivers gushing and you will taste the simple meal cooked by natives, and taste will linger in your mouth.
