There are two major underwater hotels in Asia. The foremost underwater hotel is Crescent Hydropolis in Dubai. Dubai is renowned all over the world for its spellbinding architecture. Architectural dreams have become sort of a reality here. Hydropolis is one such architectural dream. This luxury resort was built at the cost of $550 million.
The hotel is constructed on the floor of the Persian Gulf. This is almost 66 feet below sea level. This underwater hotel is spread over 27 acres. The land station is connected by a train tunnel which is 1700 feet long. The hotel is built in the shape of a jelly fish. This wonderful hotel has 220 suites. All suites are shaped in the form of a bubble. The sleeping area and bathrooms are comprised of clear glass.

The tallest skyscraper namely the Burj Khalifa was opened on Monday, 4 January 2010 in Dubai. The inaugural ceremony of the building was accompanied by an amazing display of the multicolored fireworks. The total height of the building is around 828 meters which is almost half a mile. Initially known as Burj Dubai the building was later renamed to its current name Burj Khalifa as an honor to Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, head of the adjacent rich Abu Dhabi emirate.
The Burj Dubai tower plans to have the highest swimming pool as well as mosque across the world. According to the plan the mosque would be placed on the 158th floor whereas the swimming pool would be placed on the 76th floor.
